Colab Garage R35 GT-R Transmission Diaper by Stroud Safety
We partnered up with Stroud Safety to develop an Colab Garage exclusive R35 Nissan GTR transmission diaper. This important safety device will not only contain damage as a result of a GR6 transmission failure it will also keep the resulting oil spill from hitting the track.
This transmission diaper was developed out of a safety requirement by many organized racing events to ensure the safety of the driver by keeping him from running over their own oil and parts if a catastrophic transmission failure occurs during a run. This also helps keep the event on schedule by not having to shut down the racing to clean up the resulting mess when not running one of these.
This Colab Garage exclusive offer from Stroud Safety is constructed of a non ballistic nylon with oil absorbent pads that can be easily replaced if/when you have a failure. It is secured with sewn in straps and buckles for a straight forward installation with or without the transmission installed in the vehicle.
